Newsletter Terms and Conditions

NEWSLETTER TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules for using the Newsletter service provided by the online shop Steki.pl (hereinafter referred to as the “Shop”).
  2. The entity providing the Newsletter service and the administrator of the Shop is Mateusz Ludwiniak, conducting business under the name “Produkcja Handel Doradztwo Mateusz Ludwiniak,” Chobot 15, 05-074 Halinów (hereinafter referred to as the “Administrator”).
  3. Subscribing to the Newsletter is done by entering a valid email address in the form on the Shop’s website, reading the Terms and Conditions, accepting the Terms and Conditions, clicking the active “Send” button, and activating the confirmation link sent to the provided email address by the Administrator.
  4. Using the active link to confirm registration means that the User's email address will be used from that point onwards to provide the Newsletter service.
  5. The Newsletter service is provided free of charge until the User cancels the service or the Administrator discontinues it, which may happen at any time. Users can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the appropriate link included in every Newsletter email or by sending a request via email to sklep@steki.pl
  6. Using the Newsletter service requires access to a computer or other device with an Internet connection, any web browser, and an active email account.
  7. As part of the Newsletter service, you will receive messages in the form of an email to the address provided, no more than once a week.
  8. The Newsletter will include information on news, fun facts, and recipes from the food industry, as well as details about products and services offered by the Shop or its partners, including information on current promotions or competitions. The Newsletter may contain commercial information within the meaning of the Act of 18 July 2002 on the Provision of Services by Electronic Means.
  9. Complaints regarding the Newsletter service can be submitted via email to sklep@steki.pl. The complaint should include at least a description of the issue, the email address used during registration, and details about the complaint. Complaints will be resolved, and responses provided, within 14 days of receiving the complaint.
  10. Users' personal data is processed by the Shop being the data controller solely for the purpose of providing the Newsletter service. Providing personal data is voluntary but necessary to use the service.
  11. Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), i.e., the Administrator's execution of the contract to provide the Newsletter service is the legal basis for processing personal data.
  12. Personal data will only be shared with third parties for the purpose of delivering the Newsletter service and the Administrator's administrative and technical support, including IT service providers.
  13. Personal data will be processed for the duration of the Newsletter service. In the event of cancellation, personal data will be promptly deleted.
  14. Under the applicable data protection laws, data subjects have the right to: (a) access their personal data and correct it; (b) obtain a copy of their personal data processed by the Administrator; (c) delete their personal data or restrict its processing; (d) transfer their personal data to another data controller; (e) object to the processing of their personal data.
  15. Every data subject has the right to lodge a complaint regarding the processing of their personal data with the supervisory authority: the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw.
  16. For any matters related to personal data processing, you can contact the Administrator by post at the Administrator's address or by email at sklep@steki.pl.
  17. These Terms and Conditions are effective from 10 October 2023. The Administrator reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions in the event of legal changes affecting the provision of services or changes in the scope or manner of providing the service. Users will be informed of any changes via email and through the Shop’s website. Changes will come into effect 14 days after a notification is sent to the User or published on the Shop’s website.
